Yesterday’s Post: Creating a Christmas Tradition
If down here in Houston, Texas were having quite a few cold days; I’m sure all you of up North are freezing! But no worries, in today’s post i’m sharing with you my favorite Hot Chocolate Recipe that I found on google by searching Hot Cocoa Recipe and this Recipe came up: Creamy Hot Cocoa This is the most delicious Hot chocolate i’ve ever had.. I’m going to walk you through each step, and make it a whole lot easier for you!
Ingredients & Step-by-step Instructions: *Hover over each Picture to know what the next step is
Step 1: * Over medium heat in a Medium saucepan add the water
Tip: It boils super fast make sure you have the rest of your ingredients ready before this step. Don’t let the water consume.
Tip: Recipe Calls for a pinch of salt, but I find it optional. What the Salt does is bring out the chocolate flavor more, but I know some people don’t feel comfortable adding salt to something sweet!
Step 4: * Before this step Lower the heat
Tip: Add dry ingredients little by little while stirring; Get rid of as many clumps as possible. Don’t let it scorch; turn heat down if needed
Tip: We use Whole Milk for this recipe but feel free to add whatever milk you prefer. Add only one cup of milk at a time stir, after each cup is added to avoid clumps.
Step 6: *Raise the heat to Medium
Tip: After adding all the milk, the mixture will get cold, raise the heat and stir until it gets extremely hot, But do NOT let it boil! Add Vanilla Extract
Tip: Serve in your Favorite Christmas Mug get Cozy and Enjoy the most delicious cup of hot chocolate ever!!
Don’t forget to add the Mini Marshmallows!
